FAQs

1.  Can I pay the driver when I am picked up..? 

Yes, we accept Cash, all Major Credit Cards or Traveler's Cheque but not Personal Cheque. (If the fare is greater than MYR 50, we need credit card to confirm your reservation).

2.  What are the luggage restrictions..?

Klshuttles follows the same guidelines as most airline carriers: Each passenger is allowed 2 suitcases and 1 carry-on... Excessive amounts of or larger sized luggage are subject to a MYR 20 baggage handling charge per item; For extreme amounts/size of luggage, an exclusive service may be necessary

3.  Do I have to pay full price for my child..?

All persons age 3 and under ride for free..! 
Car seats are not provided however...
A parent or guardian must accompany

4.  Where should I wait for the vehicle when I am being picked-up at a housing or business complex (i.e. corporate office, apartment/condominium complex)?

We can pick-up wherever is most convenient for you and the driver. The driver can come to your unit/suite # or another specified location. If you would prefer to be picked up at a location other than your given address, (i.e. at a gate, leasing office, water fountain, etc), please notate this in your online reservation or have the reservation agent include this note when booking over the phone. In cases such as these, we ask that you provide a mobile phone number where you can be reached should your driver have any difficulty locating you. This is to ensure that we can locate and pick you up promptly and you won’t be in jeopardy of not reaching your destination in time.

5.  Do you offer other transportation besides going to and from Airport..?

Klshuttles is a full service transportation company; we provide drop-off/pick-up service for Peninsular Malaysia. (Singapore, Pulau Langkawi, Pulau Tioman etc)

6.  Is there a fee for canceling a reservation..?

Being that we are part of the transportation industry, we understand that certain events outside of a passengers control may create the need to change or cancel plans. We do ask that you notify our department at +6012 6636 287 at least 12 hours prior to pick-up to ensure that we can refund your credit card. If you call less than 12 hours prior to pick-up, your credit card may be charged the partial or full fare in order to compensate the driver who was assigned to your reservation.

7.  Do I have to make a reservation..?

All transportation TO/FROM Airport, Train Depot or Hotels, a reservation is required with the online reservation/booking and from hotels were guests can arranged transportation at needed bases by concierge / bell staff...

8.  How long does it take for klshuttles to pick me up at the "Shuttles for Hire"

Under normal circumstances the process takes no more than 15 minutes from Kuala Lumpur Hotels the time you request a Shuttle van to Airport. 

9.  How do I get a klshuttles van once arriving at Kuala Lumpur International  airport / Low Cost Carriage Terminal airport..? 

For Share Ride Service arrivals, retrieve your luggage, and follow the signs for ground transportation...
Go to the International/ Domestic meeting point and look for placard with your name.

10.  Arrived at the airport and could not find my shuttle provider. Who do I call?

Please call the number provided on your redemption voucher. If you continue to experience difficulties, please contact Customer Service Hotline at +6012 6636 287  

11.  Do I have to pay for my infant or child to ride in the shuttle?

Shuttle rates are usually based on seat occupancy, unless otherwise noted that infants and/or children can ride for free. It is also required by law that an infant must ride in a car seat. In most cases, unless otherwise noted, child seats are the passenger’s responsibility. 

12.  Will the shuttle pick me up at my home and take me to the airport?

Klshuttle Services do provide ground transportation to or from anywhere other than hotels and airports, but the charges will depends on the location and time if pick up.

13.  My flight is delayed. Do I need to contact anyone to let them know to hold my Shuttle  reservation?

Call your Shuttle provider at the number listed in your redemption instructions as soon as you know of a flight change.

14.  How do I reserve my vehicle for transportation?

The reservation process we have established is very simple. After you have entered the dates you would like to travels,  You may either click the "Book Now" button to begin the reservation process. After selecting your desired destination you will be taken to a "Secure Reservation Request" form. There you will need to review the "Reservation Information" and fill in the blanks on the "Customer Information". The last part of the "Customer Information" section will ask you to enter your credit card information or choose to call or fax in the information. By paying with a credit card over our SECURE form, your reservation is booked immediately. If you choose to call or fax the information, the reservation will not be confirmed until we have received the credit card numbers.
